Mini Logger Models

There are several models of the Mini Logger. Each has specific, unique capabilities. To determine which model you have, consult the label on the back of the Mini Logger. The Mini Mitter part number will contain the model number in the last for digits.

Mini Logger Series 2000 - Temperature and Activity Monitoring

Mini Logger Series 2002 - Temperature, Activity, and Heart Rate monitoring using a telemetric sensor.

Mini Logger Series 2003 - Temperature, Activity and Heart Rate monitoring using a directly wired sensor.

Mini Logger Series 2010 - Temperature, Activity and Heart Rate or IBI monitoring using a telemetric sensor.

Mini Logger Series 2012 - Temperature, Activity and Heart Rate, or IBI monitoring using a directly wired sensor.

Mini Logger Serial Number

The Mini Logger has undergone some design changes over the years to improve performance (primarily battery life). Mini Loggers with a Serial number of M1875 or higher are of the current version. If your Mini Logger has a serial number that is lower than M1875 and you wish to bring it up to the current specifications, please contact Mini Mitter Technical Support to schedule service.

Battery Polarity

Orientation of the Main Batteries in Mini Loggers with Serial numbers that are lower than M1875 is different than for Mini Loggers constructed after this point.

• Mini Loggers before M1875 - The main batteries were oriented so that they were anti-parallel to each other.
• Mini Loggers from M1875 on - The main batteries are oriented parallel to one another.

Mini Log Software Version and Operating System Information

Mini Log 2000W is a Windows-based program. This version allows you to make use of your Mini Loggers with the newer Windows operating systems. In addition, since it is based upon Windows, it supports the standard Windows functions like printing and screen capture. This version of software has been shipping with new Mini Loggers since the summer of 2001.

Mini Log Version 3.57 is the final DOS version of the Mini Log program. We strongly recommend upgrading to Windows 2000W.
